What you need
An iPhone or iPad; the App Store page lists the exact iOS version needed. The game plays in portrait and landscape. The puzzles work offline; ads, Game Center and purchases need a connection when you use them.
How to play
- Slide the tiles. There is one empty socket. Tap a tile next to it, or drag it toward the socket, to slide it in.
- Join the line. Reconnect the railway so the train can reach the station.
- Run the train. Press Run. If the line is broken, the train stops, shows the gap and rolls back. No harm done.
Drag the background to turn the world, pinch to zoom, and double-tap the background to recenter. Later boards fold into an L, wrap around a corner and become a tiny cube planet. Tiles keep their direction as they roll over a single fold, but a tile carried once round a corner point comes home turned. Alpine’s Round the Corner shows this with a short demonstration; Show me replays it.
The last world, Starport, is for experts: every route there winds over all six sides of the planet.
Moves, crowns and hints
Every slide forward counts as a move, and so does a redo. Undo is unlimited and does not add a move, but the moves you undo stay on the counter. Reset starts a fresh attempt at zero. Every route has a proven fewest-moves solution. Build it in that many moves to earn a crown.
A quiet clock starts at your first slide; there is no countdown. Your time only matters between routes built in the same number of moves: then the faster one is the better result.
Tap the light bulb for a hint. In the free version, a rewarded video is offered when you ask; watch it and the game guides you through the next three moves. If no video is available, the hint is free. With Ad-Free, hints do not require an ad. On the biggest boards, if you are far from any solution, the hint may suggest Reset instead. Routes finished with a hint still unlock the next level, but they do not count toward your best result or the leaderboards.
Game Center
Signing in to Game Center is optional. When you are signed in, your best result for each route (finished without a hint) goes to that route’s leaderboard, and achievements unlock as you play. Leaderboards show points: fewer moves always score higher, and between equal moves the faster time wins. Open them from High Scores on the main menu, or Settings → Game Center.
If scores do not appear, check that you are signed in to Game Center in your device’s Settings app. Scores are sent in the background and retried later if you are offline.
Ad-Free and restoring purchases
Ad-Free is a one-time purchase that removes the ads between levels and gives you hints without videos. Every level stays free to play either way.
If you reinstall the game or move to a new device, tap Restore Purchases. You find it on the main menu, on the Ad-Free screen, and in Settings → Shop. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy it.
For refunds, use Apple’s Report a Problem page; purchases are handled by Apple.
Ads and privacy choices
The free version shows an occasional ad after you finish a level: never in your first five minutes of play, never more than once every five minutes of play, and never during a shape reveal or a world celebration. Rewarded video ads are offered only when you request a hint. With Ad-Free, hints do not require an ad.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google’s privacy message asks for your consent before ads are shown; in some US states it explains your opt-out choices. To review or change your choice, open Settings → Privacy → Privacy Options (shown when it applies in your region). Once Apple confirms Ad-Free, Tiny Junction does not initialize Google Mobile Ads, run Google’s consent flow or request ads. The privacy policy explains what information is involved.
Sound, haptics and motion
Open Settings to turn sound effects, ambience and haptics on or off, set their volumes, and choose Reduce Motion. Reduced motion plays shorter, gentler shape reveals and keeps the menus still. The game also follows your device’s Reduce Motion setting.
Your progress
Progress is saved on your device and included in your device backups. It is not synced between devices. Deleting the app removes its active local data from the device. Older device or iCloud backups may still contain a copy and may restore it later. Game Center scores and achievements are kept by Apple and are not lost when you delete the game.
